i just spent the best weekend in southern france with two great gals.

some MUCH needed r&r, swimmin' and sunnin'.

did: THIS for two days straight.

ate: THIS. moules et frites.

enjoyed: THIS lovely scenery. 

laughed and loved spending time with these two.

all in all it was perfect :)

i studied in southern france a few summers ago...

and i cant wait to soak up some sun this weekend.

its a surprisingly cool and grey day here in paris.

perfect day for some soft girly tunes.

a few weeks ago seb and i went with some friends to explore the loire.

seb and i kicked butt in the couples competition.

last week i had some gals over to watch the royal wedding.
 i made all kinds of british inspired food.
ie. tea sandwiches, english pea salad, etc.

 and of course we wore crowns.

best day ever.

great lunch at an outdoor cafe.

we lounged in the tuileries.

i got to wear my new white shorts from h&m.

new book and a perrier.

all of these things made the perfect spring day.

this place is the best thing ever!

a true mexican restaurant in paris.

the restaurant is tiny with one little table

and you can watch the cooks working away in the exposed kitchen.

the best part is...

there is a hidden door that looks like a wall and 

you push through it and enter a secret bar with AWESOME cocktails

and tequilas from everywhere.
