royal party.

last week i had some gals over to watch the royal wedding.
 i made all kinds of british inspired food.
ie. tea sandwiches, english pea salad, etc.

 and of course we wore crowns.

best day ever.

great lunch at an outdoor cafe.

we lounged in the tuileries.

i got to wear my new white shorts from h&m.

new book and a perrier.

all of these things made the perfect spring day.

a true mexican restaurant in paris.

the restaurant is tiny with one little table

and you can watch the cooks working away in the exposed kitchen.

the best part is...

there is a hidden door that looks like a wall and 

you push through it and enter a secret bar with AWESOME cocktails

and tequilas from everywhere.

ended up in luxembourg gardens for a picnic.

i LOVE french markets.

by law, each arrondissement (neighborhood) in Paris
must have an open-air market two times a week.

you can buy EVERYTHING! fresh produce, cheeses, meats, clothes, and appliances.

i am not a huge longchamp fan.

im sure they are good quality but i see them EVERYWHERE...

which kinda takes away the allure.

but i will bite my tongue because i haven fallen

in love with the new collection.

last night i put together this lovely antipasti dinner.

antipasti means "before the meal" in italian.

in our case it was the meal.

grilled asparagus wrapped in prosciutto.

buffalo mozzerella.

grilled eggplant.

sundried tomatoes.

italian peppers.

olives.

sauscisson.

cherry tomatoes.

bruschetta with homemade tapenade.

and a bottle of chianti.
